Frequently Asked Questions
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
Don’t worry, I’ll walk you through everything so it feels easy and fun. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera.
A few quick tips:
~You don’t need to know how to pose—I’ll guide you the whole time with simple prompts so it never feels awkward.
~Outfits you feel confident in always photograph best. Solid colors and neutrals work beautifully, but the most important thing is that you feel you.
~We’ll move around, chat, and laugh—it’s more about capturing genuine moments than stiff poses.
~If kids (or partners!) are involved, don’t stress about perfection. Some of the sweetest photos come from real, candid interactions.
~Really, the only thing you need to bring is yourself and a willingness to have fun. I’ll take care of the rest!
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
Travel within 25 miles of the location is included in all of my packages. Anything outside of that range does have a small travel fee of $30, just to help cover extra time and mileage.
How long does it take to get our photos?
My turnaround time is about 2 weeks for most sessions. The only exceptions are engagement sessions and weddings, which take a bit longer since there are so many special moments to go through carefully. I always edit with quality in mind, so you’ll receive a beautiful, finished gallery in that timeframe.
Can you recommend any good locations?
Absolutely! I have a wide list of beautiful locations all around the St. Louis area and surrounding counties. Some are well-known favorites, while others are more private and tucked away for a quieter experience. Once we decide on the style or vibe you’re envisioning—whether that’s natural, urban, or something more unique—I’ll share options that will be a perfect fit for your session.
the Petite
A short & sweet option, perfect for capturing life’s little milestones or when you just want a quick refresh of updated photos. With 30 minutes, one beautiful location, and 30 edited images, the Petite session gives you just the right amount of variety without overwhelming your schedule. It’s simple, fun, and designed to highlight your story in a natural, effortless way.

The CLASSIC
The Classic session is the perfect balance of time and flexibility. With one full hour, two unique locations, and 60+ edited images, this package allows us to slow down, explore, and capture more variety. It’s ideal for families, couples, or anyone who wants a thoughtful blend of posed portraits and candid in-between moments that feel true to who you are.

The Signature experience is for those who want it all. With 1.5 hours, two stunning locations, unlimited images, and up to two outfit changes, this session gives you the freedom to create a full storytelling experience.
